METHODOLOGY

InetMarketing Strategies uses a methodology called Six Sigma (6σ); also know by the acronym DMAIC pronounced (Duh-May-Ick). Created by Motorola in the 1980’s Six Sigma is a statistical measurement of the performance of a process. In manufacturing terms Six Sigma is less than 3.4 defects or errors per one million products or processes.

  • Define: Create problem statement, define scope and goal

  • Measure: Collect data, measure current state of problem and create baseline statistics to measure improvements

  • Analyze: Discover/validate root cause of the problem and formulate options

  • Improve: Decide which option offer the best chance of success, and implement option as a solution

  • Control: Regularly monitor solution to ensure it stays in place and remains effective. Define corrective action if improvements begin to slip.
